Eligibility criteria

• Singapore citizen or Singapore PR intending to take up citizenship (Contract will only be offered upon confirmation of your citizenship)

• For SAF Dental Scholarship (SDS), attain a placing to study Dentistry at National University of Singapore (NUS)

• For SAF Medicine Scholarship, attain a placing to study Medicine at either National University of Singapore (NUS) Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine or Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine

• Good GCE A-Level or International Baccalaureate results, Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent

Basic conditions

• SAF Dental Scholarship (SDS) holder will have to fulfil a 6-year bond after studies. SAF bond will run concurrently with the 4-year MOH bond. They will have their bond suspended during periods of Speciality Training and Hospital Postings

• SAF Medicine Scholarship holder will have to fulfil a 6-year bond after studies. SAF bond will run concurrently with the 5-year MOH bond. They will have their bond suspended during periods of Speciality Training and Hospital Postings
