How it works
Following basic training, you'll be deployed to an Engineering, Logistics or Medical role to begin your 40 months of Work-Study Diploma training and extended service.

You will need to hold a Nitec/ Higher Nitec certificate and an EMS or EMT Certificate
Nitec with GPA with ≥ 3.5 AND
(A) EMS Certificate* or
(B) EMT Certificate**

- Paramedic Level 3 certificate
** EMT Certificate
- Emergency Medical Technician Certificate or the WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support (PHEMS)
Higher Nitec with GPA ≥ 2 AND
(A) EMS Certificate* or
(B) EMT Certificate**

- Paramedic Level 3 certificate or
- Higher Nitec in Paramedic and Emergency Care (HNPEC)
